We have also expanded our management and commercial services at this time. As of 2006, 5 women Brokers bought into the company stock. The transfer was completed in January 2006, with the following shareholders joining Margaret Rose as the ownership team: Pat Chaconas-Dumon, Joy Harsen, Sandy Perry, Margie Rowe and Marcia Werneke. Pat has been licensed as a salesperson and broker since 1978, beginning her career in Montgomery County, Maryland. In addition to many awards and achievements, Pat has earned both the Graduate Realtors Institute and Certified Residential Broker designations. Since moving to New Bern in late 2000 and joining Neuse Realty in the Fall of 2001, Pat has earned the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 New Bern Board of Realtors $Million Production awards after which time the awards were no longer being offered. Pat’s extensive real estate career experience includes residential and new home sales, branch office management, teaching, and training of both new agents and experienced professionals. Pat provides the highest level of customer service, as reflected by her steady flow of repeat clients and personal referrals. And her commitment to her profession and to Neuse Realty was reinforced when she became one of Neuse Realty's new partners in 2006.
On a personal note, Pat and her husband, Bob, love their new home town of New Bern, their house in Fairfield Harbour, and participate in many local and community activities. Bob, a graduate of the University of Michigan and a loyal Wolverine fan, is an avid golfer, an accomplished trumpet player with his own jazz group, loves showing off his custom designed home theater, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Fairfield Harbour Property Owners Association. In her spare time, Pat’s passion is cooking and entertaining in her meticulously designed and prized custom kitchen. Oh, and she's also a native Washingtonian (DC) and a lifelong, devoted fan of her beloved Washington Redskins.

Joy M. Harsen, GRI
Joy and her husband, Jake, and puppy, Conner, live in Fairfield Harbour where they have built three homes. She is very active at St. Paul's Catholic Church, and in the New Bern Garden Club she is a national flower show judge and board member. As a Board Member of Neuse River Region Association of Realtors, she serves as treasurer for 2010. Sandy Perry
Sandy is a Real Estate Broker with Neuse Realty, Inc. for over six years. She has been recognized as a Multi-Million Dollar Realtor, and a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable. In addition, she is very active in the Fairfield Harbour (FFH) 18-Hole Ladies Golf Association, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Embroidery Guild of America-Tryon Chapter, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is active with Amenities Resolution Team (ART) in FFH which identifies ideas for making it an outstanding community to live in and to promote an active lifestyle for its residents. Sandy has been coming to the FFH’s Timeshares for 29 years. As a result, she is well acquainted with the New Bern area and has witnessed many of the changes in New Bern and is surrounding areas. Also, Sandy acquired numerous pieces of property within Craven County and is familiar with the expanding neighborhoods all over the New Bern region.
Prior to joining NRI, Sandy had over 37 years experience with the Federal Government. As a Realtor, Sandy loves to show prospective buyers homes and properties within the greater New Bern area. She is extremely knowledgeable in the attributes of living in the different neighborhoods, the exceptional community opportunities and assorted activities. Margaret Rose, ABR, CRB, ABRM, e-pro
Prior to purchasing the firm together with her husband, Margaret held increasingly senior position in the hospitality and relocation industries. She has served as a adjunct faculty member at Los Angeles Trade Tech, Bergen Community College and New York Trade Tech College; she served as full time faculty at County College of Morris while she was a hotel broker for National Hotel Realty. In 2003, she joined the Commercial Alliance of the NORTH CAROLINA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS and continues to serve. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, with a particular focus on real estate investments. She holds an undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin. Margie Rowe, Office Manager, Relocation Certified Coordinator
On a more personal note, Margie was born and raised in New Bern and she and her husband Garland have made their life here, with their daughters, Brooke and Stacey. Her oldest, Brooke, got married 5 years ago and is now residing in New Bern, NC and a RN at Craven Regional Hospital. Her youngest, Stacey, has moved out of the nest and a waiting her wedding date, she is admin assit for Carolina Orthopedics & Sports Medicine . Margie is very close with all of her friends and family and feels very blessed and thankful to have such a special bond with them.
