Established in 1978, Colonial Capital Humane Society (CCHS) is the only no-kill shelter in Craven County. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for abandoned, abused and neglected animals while they wait for their forever homes. CCHS is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer and donation driven organization.
On October 29, 2016, Neuse Realty agents continued the tradition of supporting CCHS by participating in the annual Harbour Point Golf Club Tournament benefiting CCHS.
Broker Co-Owner of Neuse Realty, Marcia Werneke, is a long-time member and volunteer with Colonial Capital Humane Society (CCHS). Marcia co-chaired the event with Patti Manna, another long-time member and volunteer of CCHS.
The community involvement was tremendous and inspiring. Many individuals and organizations showed their support through donating their time, talents, and money to ensure the event was a success. Neuse Realty sponsored the beverage cart and Joy Harsen, Broker Co-Owner Neuse Realty, flexed her golfing skills as a player in the tournament. And, Dan Argentieri, General Manager of the Harbour Pointe Golf Club, was tremendous in rounding up golf participants and organizing the event. We raised over $2,000 for the CCHS.
