Margaret Rose serves as the President and Broker-in-Charge of Neuse Realty Inc., and an Owner since 1988. She is the 2021 recipient of the coveted Presidential Service Award, presented by the Neuse Regional Association of Realtors®. 

Margaret’s impact on the real estate industry in North Carolina has been profound. She has championed sweeping advancements in real estate training that is delivered to all Neuse Regional Association of Realtors® members, with the goal of improving service to consumers and developing the Realtors® of Eastern North Carolina as dynamic, service-minded professionals.  

She currently serves on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Board of Directors for the Neuse River Region Association of Realtors® Board (NRRAR). In 2018, the NRRAR MLS appointed her to the North Carolina Regional MLS. In 2020 she served as President of this organization which serves approximately 10,800 members in North Carolina. 

Previously, Margaret served as a Governor of the NC Realtors® Property Management Division and as a Director of the NC Real Estate Education Foundation. She was awarded the prestigious Realtor® of the Year award in 2017 for exemplifying outstanding leadership at the state and local level.  

Her professional designations through the National Association of Realtors® include the Certified Residential Broker (CRB), e-Pro, and Accredited BUYER Representative (ABR). In the hospitality industry, she was an early recipient of the coveted CHSE (Certified Hotel Sales Executive) designation from the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International, in which she holds a lifetime membership. 

Now widowed, Margaret was married to Peter Rose who she met while working in the hotel industry. Together, they purchased Neuse Realty in 1988. 

All seven of her grandchildren (and two great grands!) reside in Germany. She loves travel, her jazz trio (piano is her instrument), and Aussies (Breeze is her dog).
