Pat Chaconas Dumon, a partner in the Neuse Realty firm since 2007 and serves as Chairman of the Board, has been a member of the Neuse Realty family since September of 2001. She brings over 35 years of residential real estate brokerage experience, which also includes teaching and training both new and experienced agents in the DC Metropolitan area as well as managing an office of over 55 agents in Potomac, Maryland.

Pat and her husband, Bob, love living in their new home town of New Bern, and are both actively involved in community events and activities. They are also passionate about football – Bob, from Flint, Michigan with his Michigan Wolverines, and Pat, a native of Washington DC with her Washington Redskins. They usually spend their fall weekends with the NCAA and NFL on the television. Bob plays jazz trumpet and is an excellent photographer, doing all of Pat’s listing photo shoots as well as for many other agents of Neuse Realty and around New Bern.

Another of Pat’s passions is cooking. She often brings goodies – both sweet and savory – into the office to share, and provides her clients and friends with homemade items and gifts. She creates her own varieties of vanilla extract and receives requests for more every year.

One cannot thrive for over 35 years in the real estate business without being fully committed and passionate about the work, and Pat is. She continues to be dedicated to the business, her clients, and being sure their needs are being met. Because of this dedication, Pat continues to receive referrals and repeat business from her past clients.

Professional National Association of Realtors designations include CRB (Certified Residential Broker), GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), and SPS (Strategic Pricing Specialist). She has served on the Neuse River Region Association of Realtors Grievance and Ethics Committee and is currently a member of its Professional Standards Committee, on which she has served for the past five years. Pat is also Co-Chair of Fairfield Harbour Neighborhood Watch, and has organized many community events including National Night Out in 2013 and 2014, NW’s fire safety program, and sheriff’s candidate forums during the 2014 election year.

Bob and Pat are also proud of their children and grandchildren, traveling to Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia as often as their busy schedules allow. When relaxing in their Fairfield Harbour home, they enjoy their pool, their gourmet kitchen, their home theater, and their large and exuberant but lovable Golden Retriever, Brie.
